Treon Privacy Policy
Treon Oy (further referenced as “us”, “we” or “our”) operates Treon Webstore (treonstore.com), Treon Knowledgebase (kb.treon.fi) and Treon Website (treon.fi). Treon websites is referring to Treon Webstore, Treon Knowledgebase and Treon Website.
This Privacy Policy will explain our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when using our websites or any other sites, services and offerings. In addition to this, this Privacy Policy is applicable to all Treon operated websites and its online store operations.
The main purpose of the collection of the data is to provide, maintain and develop better services for our customers and to follow the legal obligations of e-commerce. By using the Treon websites, the customer agrees to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Collecting Information
When using the Treon websites, we collect different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our services and the customer experience. We may ask to provide us certain information, that can be used to identify and/or contact the customer and to be able to improve the customer experience. The information we collect may include (but not limited to):

- E-mail address
- Phone number
- Company name
- VAT identification number (Y-tunnus in Finland)
- Address, State, Postal code and City
- Cookies
- Site usage data
The information is used only for the purposes it is collected to. Collecting and processing personal data is based on the legitimate interest of Treon. The usage data is used for analytical purposes to develop our services and websites. The usage data may contain (but not limited to): computer’s internet protocol address (IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of Treon operated websites you visit, the time spent on the pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostics data.
The Treon websites may also have forms and additional collection methods that may request contact, payment and/or other information. Providing this information is optional, but you may be unable to complete certain transactions, obtain certain services, or access certain features or functionalities of the Treon websites without providing the requested information.
2.1 Addition concerning Treon Webstore
Collecting and processing the data of the customer is based on the legitimate interest of Treon. The data of the contact person of the company is collected to complete the webstore order successfully and to follow the legal obligations of e-commerce.
Please note, that the information and/or behavioural data may be used for sales and marketing purposes and if needed, shared with necessary third parties to provide successful e-commerce experience and to support the order and delivery processes.
3. Cookies
When you visit the Treon websites, one or more cookies are placed on (or read from) your machine if your browser is set to accept cookies. A cookie consists of a simple code that is used to access your account information, maintain current session data, and help analyse website traffic. The Treon websites may use the information in cookies for a variety of purposes including, but not limited to, market research and improving the content of our websites.

When an order is processed in the Treon Webstore, customer’s data may be sent to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases. In order to complete the payment, we may share necessary payment and (credit) card information with the card payment provider to process the transactions successfully. The payment administrator of the Treon Webstore is Nets A/S Netaxept.
By using the Treon websites, the customer agrees to the collection and analysis of the usage information. We may also use selected third-party providers, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Google Search Console, DealFront (former Leadfeeder), HubSpot, HotJar, Clarity, Facebook, and others, to allow tracking technologies and remarketing services on Treon websites. This tracking is based on the use of first party cookies and third-party cookies, to, among other things, monitor, analyze and track users’ use of the websites, determine the popularity of certain content and understanding of online activity. By accessing the websites, you consent to the collection and use of your information by these third-party services. Every customer has the right to check the information stored in the register and to request the correction of any incorrect information or the completion of incomplete information. If a customer wishes to check the data stored or request a correction, the request must be sent in writing to the controller. If necessary, the controller may ask the customer to prove the identity. The controller will respond to the customer within the time limit set by the European Union (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (usually within one month). Every customer also has the right to request the removal of one’s personal data from the register. The registered customers also have rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, such as restrictions on the processing of personal data in certain situations. Requests must be sent in writing to the controller. If necessary, the controller may ask the customer to prove the identity. The controller will respond to the customer within the time limit set by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (usually within one month).
