Treon Gateway 2 features

Wireless data collection

Collect data reliably from wireless sensors using the scalable Wirepas mesh network or Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity protocols, both designed for large industrial deployments.

 

The gateway supports +8 dBm transmit power, extending range and improving performance in large industrial environments.

 

A built-in real-time clock with battery backup ensures accurate timekeeping even when the gateway is powered off. This guarantees reliable data collection and system operation.

Versatile cloud connectivity

The Treon Gateway 2 supports multiple internet connectivity options to ensure reliable data transmission:

  • LTE-M / 2G cellular
  • 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi
  • Wired Ethernet
  • USB connectivity for external modems


This flexibility allows deployments in both connected facilities and remote locations.

Custom wideband cellular antenna enables strong connectivity across multiple cellular bands, including improved coverage in the United States.

End-to-end security

The Treon Gateway 2 is designed with strong security at every layer. Device authentication and identity management are handled using X.509 certificates, while encrypted communication via Transport Layer Security (TLS) protects all transmitted data.

 

Regular software updates ensure the system remains secure throughout its lifecycle.

Rugged industrial design & protection

Treon Gateway 2 features an IP66/IP67-rated enclosure for protection against dust, water, and harsh environmental conditions. When used with the protective enclosure, it can be deployed in outdoor environments and demanding industrial settings.
