Treon’s wireless vibration and temperature sensor Treon Industrial Node 6 Ex is now certified for use in potential hazardous locations (HazLoc) in the US and Canada based on UL/CSA standards. In addition to existing European certification with IECEx/ATEX standards, HazLoc is tailored for locations in North America.
“We are thrilled to expand the addressable market of wireless condition monitoring to potentially hazardous environments to serve our North American customers. This opens exciting opportunities expanding in verticals such as oil and gas.”
From now on, Treon’s customers can sell the wireless sensor integrated in their end own solutions to customers in the oil, gas, agriculture, food and beverage processing markets in Europe and US.

Treon Industrial Node 6 Ex measures tri-axial vibration and surface temperature of rotating equipment, such as pumps, motors, and compressors, with a frequency range up to 6.3kHz. It sends data via wireless mesh network to Treon Gateway. From Gateway the data is provided directly and securely to the customer backend.
Product deliveries started in October 2022.
