Valmet, a leading developer, and supplier of process and automation technologies has launched its renewed condition monitoring offering, the Valmet DNA Condition Monitoring System. Key part of the new offering is Valmet WVS-200, a wireless vibration sensor, that is based on Treon Industrial Node 6.

Valmet DNA Condition Monitoring System includes world-class diagnostic tools and automatic anomaly detection. It connects wired and wireless sensors to one easy-to-use interface, for data analysis and visualization. This solution is built in the Valmet DNA Automation System, providing machine condition information in the same user interface with the process automation.

Wireless and battery-operated, Treon Industrial Node 6 measures machine vibration and surface temperature. It processes a wide range of vibration key performance indicators. The processed values or acceleration waveform are transmitted wirelessly to Gateways over a scalable mesh network. Treon Gateway can collect and process sensor data, run custom applications and transmit data to any cloud or on-premises backend.
