Co-founder, CEO

Joni Korppi

Joni has been leading Treon since its beginning, driving the company’s growth from a team of seven to over 65 professionals. Leveraging 20 years of experience in telecommunications, software engineering, and product management at Fujitsu, Nokia, and Microsoft, he co-founded Treon and currently serves on the Boards of Directors for Treon Oy and its subsidiary, Treon Inc.

Janne Julkunen

Janne heads the Industrial Business Line and has over 20 years of experience leading product and functional teams. Prior to co-founding the Treon, he worked at Nokia and Microsoft in Finland, Denmark, and the United States. In addition to leading the Industrial Business Line, he is also a member of the Board of Directors at Treon Oy.

Jari Toivanen

Jari leads the engineering efforts for various Treon and customer projects. With over 20 years of experience as an accomplished leader and engineer, he has a successful track record working with companies like Nokia and Microsoft in product development and product management. Jari is a master at turning innovative ideas into tangible products.

Ismo Manninen

Ismo leads the cloud software development team at Treon, specializing in defining mobile device system architectures. With over 25 years of experience in software development, including roles at Vertex, Nokia, and Microsoft, Ismo brings a wealth of expertise to the team. Additionally, Ismo serves as the secretary of Treon Inc.

Sami Mäkelä

Sami leads Treon’s embedded software development team, specializing in low-level software architectures and implementation. With over 25 years of experience in software development at Nokia and Microsoft, he brings extensive expertise to the team.

Tuomo Nikkilä

Tuomo is leading the electronics design team at Treon, mastering low voltage electronics design for wireless products. Strong background in product development and 25+ years of experience. Previously at Tampere University, Nokia and Microsoft.

Pasi Hyttinen

Pasi leads the mechanics design team at Treon, overseeing the journey from product concept to high-quality mass production. With over 15 years of experience, he possesses a deep understanding of the full life cycle of high-volume products, gained during his career at Nokia and Microsoft.
